The Start Screen of Windows 8 may be beautiful, but there are many people looking for a way to bypass and go automatically to the traditional appearance of Windows Desktop. Apart from the Start button, the first users of Windows 8 seek to see the familiar Desktop every time you start the system. See how to boot Windows 8 straight to the desktop.
Follow these easy steps:
Press Start, type schedule click Settings, and open “Schedule tasks.” Click Task Scheduler Library from the left pane and Create Task on the right pane.
Give it a name you like as shown below.
On the Triggers Tab, create a new Trigger and select Begin the task at log on.
Open Notepad and enter the following text,
Name the file as you like (e.g. desktop.scf) and save it to a suitable location.
Finally go to the Actions Tab and create a New Action. Here you are going to add the link to the shortcut that you created on Step 4. Simply click Browse to locate it.
You are now ready to reboot and enjoy your new Windows 8 look.
